Purchasing a car is a big investment. It is also an exciting experience especially for first time car buyers. With all the excitement, many car buyers often make wrong decisions because they lack the information and sometimes due to impulsiveness. Here are the top ten money mistakes people commit when buying a car:

1. Buying you’re ideal car.

Cars come in different models and each one has his own “ideal” type of car that he wants to have. But focusing on a single type of car just because it looks amazing isn’t a very a good idea. Instead of just thinking about the look and style of the car, consider your need and lifestyle. Most importantly consider your budget when choosing a car.

2. Not going for a road drive test.

When buying a car, this is one of the most important steps that you should never miss. A car may look impressive both in and out but you’ll never know the exact condition of car unless you personally take it for a test drive.

3. Negotiating based on the tag price of the car.

Before negotiating for a lower price, find out what the car’s real price is. You may think you’re getting a huge discount from the price you asked for when in truth, you can still ask for a much lower price than that.

4. Not considering the entire price of the deal.

Dealers usually entice car buyers by giving the monthly-payment amount of the car. This way, it will not seem like a very huge amount for the buyer. When talking with a car dealer, ask how much is the full cost of the car first. Then ask for the other costs such as if you do a trade-in, financing, or leasing. This will give you a better idea on the true cost of the car.

5. Buying the car just because of the incentives included in the package.

Car sellers often include additional bonuses to attract car buyers in purchasing the car. Incentives may include rebates, 0% financing, etc. You may be convinced to make the purchase just because you’re thinking about the savings you can get from the whole package. But the more important question is, is the car really worth the buy? Remember, your main goal is to buy a car that will suit your needs and lifestyle.

6. Not shopping around for the right car financing loan.

Finding the right financing company is just as important as finding the right car. If you have plans of buying a car, it’s a good idea to start researching about car financing companies in advance before even looking for a car.

7. Not preparing your credit.

An excellent credit report is crucial in getting deals on your car loans. Thus, if you intend to buy a car, it’s recommended to start working on your credit report at least six months ahead to make sure that when you apply for a car loan, you’ll approved and get the best rates too.

8. Purchasing additional items from the car dealer.

You’re car dealer may talk you into buying extra services to enhance the look of your car such as paint protection, VIN etching, rustproofing, etc. But this can make your purchase unreasonably higher than it should be. If you want to avail of these things, it’s better to get them separately.

9. Not doing your own research.

If you’re going to trade your old car for a new one, make sure that you do your own research about the value of your car in the market. Don’t let dealers simply talk you into believing that this is your car’s worth without checking on this yourself.

10. Not having the car checked by a professional.

Before you purchase a vehicle, hire a mechanic to diagnose the vehicle for you especially if you’re buying a used car. If it’s a second hand car, ask the mechanic to write a detailed report about the car’s condition and the repairs that are needed. Show this report when you negotiate for the price of the car.

How Much Can You Really Afford to Spend on a New Car?

by Buddy Evans, Vice President of Big Bucks Auto™

Are you in the market for a new car? If so, it’s important to figure out what you can afford to spend — before going shopping. By doing some simple math and evaluating your current situation, you’ll be prepared to shop for a car you want – and can afford!

How Much Can You Spend on Monthly Car Payments

The first thing to figure out is how much you can afford to spend on monthly car payments. Most experts argue that you should not spend more than 20% of your monthly gross income on a car payment. In special situations this figure may vary, but as a rule for the average adult, sticking to 20% or less of monthly gross will likely be a wise move.

Short Term vs. Long Term Car Loan

Once you determine a safe figure for monthly car payments, you should consider the loan term. Remember that a longer car loan will mean much more interest paid over time, while a shorter car loan term will mean less interest but higher monthly payments.

Coming Up with a Down Payment

And what about your current car, assuming you have or had one?

Selling Your Current Car

If you already sold your car you may have some available cash to contribute as a down payment. Any down payment you make is great as it will cut down on monthly car payments. If you still need to get rid of your current car, be sure to consider selling your car before simply trading it in to the dealer. You can usually expect much more money from selling your car than trading it in. If time is an issue, look for a reputable used car buyers like Big Bucks Auto™ in New York Tri-State Area.

If you already sold your car and have some leftover cash from the sale, consider keeping it for a down payment on your next new car. Any down payment you make will cut down monthly payments significantly.

Leased Car

If you’re currently leasing a car, you’ll need to either wait until your lease term expires – or get out of your lease early. To learn more about getting out of a lease, read “Getting out Of Your Used Car Lease”.

And if you have savings or other available cash, this may be used as a down payment as well if you choose to do so.

Car Insurance Costs

Insurance costs are another major consideration when figuring out how much you can spend on your new car. A sports car or a high theft car will likely have a far higher insurance premium than a run-of-the-mill sedan. To put this into perspective, remember that two new cars with sticker prices of $20,000.00 each may have insurance premiums which vary by as much as 50% – or more! In other words, it’s very important to figure out – roughly – how much insurance is going to cost for all of the new cars your interested in.

Car Maintenance Costs

Then there are maintenance costs to consider. Some new cars will be far more expensive to repair than others. Foreign cars, for example, may be quite expensive to repair. However, many of these cars now come with warranties and free scheduled maintenance. New offers like this may actually make cars which used to be expensive to fix, far less expensive than other ‘cheap to fix’ cars! Therefore, the maintenance issue should be evaluated on a car-by-car and offer-by-offer basis, as manufacturers and their offers vary significantly.

After considering these simple factors, you’ll be prepared to go out and shop for a car that truly fits the bill, financially speaking.

Many people are now considering getting rid of their conventional cars and purchase a hybrid car to help in cutting fuel consumption cost.

Hybrid cars have two engines for it to effectively conserve fuel consumption. It has the traditional gasoline engine and it also has an electric motor and batteries. The two engines work together in order to cut fuel consumption. With this technology, you will be able to cut fuel usage by more than half. Just imagine, with a hybrid car, you will be able to go more than 60 miles to the gallon. With this kind of savings, hybrid cars are definitely the car of the future.

Hybrid car owners virtually do not feel the increasing cost in fuel prices. This is the main advantage of the hybrid car. There are other advantages that a hybrid car can give you. Recently, the President of the United States has signed an agreement that hybrid car buyers will be able to enjoy tax incentives. This means that by owning a hybrid car, you will be able to save money on taxes.

There are other benefits that the government imposes on hybrid car owners, such as free parking, and free entry to car pool lanes. Some even offer discounted fees on toll gates.

The braking in hybrid cars is also configured to capture the energy released and uses it to charge the batteries inside the hybrid car. This means that unlike electric cars, hybrid cars do not actually need to be charged from your home electric outlet.

However, with all the advantages that a hybrid car can give you, there are also disadvantages. The main disadvantage of hybrid cars is that the retail price is quite expensive. Only people who have enough money can purchase hybrid cars. However, the twist in all this is that hybrid cars are actually cheaper when compared to conventional cars in the long run. If you compute the total fuel consumption of both cars, you will actually see that you can save a lot more money on hybrid cars.

The only thing is that hybrid cars are expensive right from the car lot.

Hybrid cars are relatively heavy because of the heavy batteries installed inside the car. This is why hybrid car manufacturers integrates smaller internal combustion engines and are constructed with light materials and should be aerodynamic in order to maximize efficiency. This means that hybrid cars can never really go fast.

Another issue about hybrid cars is that it is very risky in accidents. What makes a hybrid car work effectively is also what makes it risky if it ever gets involved in an accident. This is because hybrid cars stores high amount of voltage in its batteries. This means that there is a high chance of getting electrocuted when you get involved in an accident. This also means that it is relatively difficult for rescuers to get the drivers and passengers out of the hybrid cars because of the dangers of high voltage in the car.

These are the advantages and the disadvantages of hybrid cars. Car manufacturers today are now looking for ways to get rid of the disadvantages of hybrid cars. In the near future, you will see that hybrid cars will be lighter and also contains less risk due to high voltage dangers.

Hybrid cars are considered to be the car of tomorrow. Because of the benefits it can give you, you will definitely want to get one for your own. In fact, more and more people are now considering selling their conventional car and purchase a hybrid car. So, why is it that more and more people prefer getting a hybrid car instead of a conventional car even if hybrid car retail prices are far more expensive?

The answer to this is that these people are thinking of the long term benefits that a hybrid car can give. With a hybrid car, you can cut fuel consumption in half compared to conventional cars. Hybrid cars will be able to give you maximum fuel efficiency. It will be able to give you far better mileage to the gallon. Just imagine, with a hybrid car, you can get more than 60 miles to the gallon of gasoline.

This is because hybrid cars run on two engines. One is the conventional internal combustion engine that you will find in conventional cars and the other is the electric motor and batteries. Hybrid cars are basically cars that combine electric energy and gasoline energy. By combining these two to power your car, it will run quieter, cleaner and far more efficient than conventional cars. These are the main advantages of hybrid cars.

Another advantage is that you will be able to save more money from tax breaks imposed by the US government to hybrid car users and buyers. If you own a hybrid car, you will be able to enjoy tax breaks. Also, you will be able to enjoy free parking and other incentives that the government imposed on hybrid car owners.

Now that you know about the main pros of the hybrid cars, you also need to know what the cons of hybrid cars are.

People have been purchasing hybrid cars because of the ability of saving a lot of money from fuel consumption. However, the main advantage of hybrid cars, which is the electric motor, is also its downfall. When a hybrid car is involved in an accident it will be difficult for you and the rescuers to get you out of the car because of the dangers of electrocution. Hybrid cars carry large amounts of voltage. When it gets involved in an accident, wires from the battery may tear off and will be potentially dangerous to handle.

Another disadvantage of hybrid cars is that the retail price is higher than conventional cars in the same weight class. However, the hybrid car can counter this disadvantage by allowing consumers to save money in a long term basis. When you look at it in a long term basis, hybrid cars tend to be cheaper than conventional cars. Try and compute the amount of gasoline both cars will consume during its lifetime and add it to the retail price of the car. You will see that the conventional car will tend to be more expensive than hybrid cars when you look at it in a long term basis.

These are the pros and cons of hybrid cars. You can see that it contains more advantages than disadvantages. Most hybrid cars today are now integrated with the latest technology in car safety. So, if you are planning to purchase a car, think hybrid.

Hybrid cars are getting more and more popular today. In fact, more and more people are now purchasing hybrid cars because of a number of reasons. One is that they will enjoy tax incentives as a buyer of a hybrid car, two is that they will be able to save a lot of money from the rising cost of precious, expensive and limited supply of fuel and three, it will enable them to generate less pollution to the environment because of the extremely low toxic emissions generated by hybrid cars.

Because of the growing popularity of hybrid cars, more and more car manufacturers are now competing to produce the best kind of hybrid cars. They are now producing hybrid cars integrated with state-of-the-art technology that will enable consumers to save more on fuel, and also a car that will be able to produce low toxic emissions.

However, because of the growing market for hybrid cars, and also because of more and more car manufacturers that are now integrating hybrid technology in their cars, many people tend to get confused on which hybrid car to purchase. Besides, all car manufacturers promises to offer the best kind of hybrid cars in the market today.

In order to know which hybrid car to purchase, you have to compare them closely for you to know which hybrid car is for you and which hybrid car you can benefit from more. You have to compare some factors of hybrid cars in order to determine which hybrid car is better than the other.

However, before you go on and compare hybrid cars, you first have to know a little something about how hybrid cars work and how you can benefit from it. First of all, hybrid cars use the cleanest and the most efficient source of energy, which is electricity and also gasoline. Hybrid cars are what you can describe as a cross between a conventional gasoline-powered car and an electric-powered car.

It allows you to save fuel and emit lower volumes of toxic fumes because hybrid cars run on electricity when it is idle. What this means is that when you are stuck in traffic, and the hybrid car is running idle, or not in motion, it will automatically switch of the gasoline engine. Therefore, the hybrid car will run purely on electricity. Once you step on the accelerator pedal, it will automatically switch on the gasoline engine again to run the car.

So, now that you know how hybrid cars work and how you can benefit from it, you now have to know how to compare hybrid cars in order to get the right kind of hybrid car for your everyday use.

First of all, you need to determine how you will use the car. If you have a family, it is recommended that you get an SUV hybrid vehicle. This will enable you to carry more passengers. However, you also have to consider that SUV hybrid vehicles can cost a little more than hybrid cars.

The main advantage of a hybrid car is that it is fuel efficient. You have to choose a hybrid car that is the most fuel efficient in order for you to maximize its benefits. You can ask your dealer about the fuel efficiency of the car. They will be able to tell you how much miles a gallon it can save compared to conventional cars and other hybrid cars.

These are the ways on how you can compare hybrid cars in order for you to choose which one to get. Remember all these things and you can be sure that you will be able to get the right kind of hybrid car available in the market today. To start your search, Honda and Toyota are two of the leading companies today that produce affordable and efficient hybrid cars.

The article will lead you to your perfect used car. So please have a read to this article that cover all the necessary tips that you need to consider while buying a used car. Why do people buy used car? This will be a good question to ask. Is it not good to go for a new car? That is all good with new technology and latest gadgets installed. These are the some reasons why people will buy a used car.
? It is less in price/ cheap. Less capital investment.
? You get a luxurious car for fewer prices.
? Deprecation of used car Is less
? You get used car from car maker that sell certified used car with includes warranties.

But buying a second hand car also has some drawbacks. Please keep in mind that used car have more maintenance cost then new cars they usually breakdown and would keep you in trouble. Replace tiers, battery and some general parts like clutch plates etc.

So know you have a brief idea about used cars. Then lets start with the search for used car.
1. Decide your budget: this is the first thing you need to think. Budget also includes the other expenses like the taxes, insurance and also the running cost etc.
2. Decide which type of car you want to buy: You have a wide range of choice you can go you a hatch back, sedan, family car a wagon etc. you should not be too specific with your car like the color, make ,model. If you are too specific this will shoot up your car price.
3. Look for a seller: These days there are many seller for example you can buy a car form a owner of the car, a private dealer that sellers used cars or a car seller that is certified by a company.
? Owner of the car: While buying a car forma private owner you need to be very care full as you won’t be getting any warranty on it. So you need to inspect the car very carefully and also look for all records for services to look for any major damages.
? Private Dealers: This are the dealer that buy cars from owner and sell them they would be giving you warranty but it would be on certain parts only. So you need to go through warranty that he is offering you. In this case you also need to get the vehicle inspected.
? Certified Dealer: Here when you buy a car form a certified dealer you should be a bit relaxed as you won’t be cheated but the car prices would be a bit high. They company it self will service the car before selling it and all the necessary parts are already changed by them. Also you get free services for a limited time and warranty on the car just similar to what you get for a new car.

4. Inspection of car: when you buy from owner of vehicle get it checked by a mechanic. This will give you the history of the car and will also let you know if there is any major damage to the car. Are the parts that are changed genuine and lot more things. Vehicle should also be inspected if you are buying from a private dealer. Where as when you go through a certified dealer it makes you life easy you should not worry about inspection. You can do it on your own.

Following things need to be inspected.
? The engine should run smoothly.
? Check for the body of the car is there any dents on it or has it meat into any accident.
? Look if the car is been repainted. Is there any sign of vehicle been painted.
? Check the battery.
? Check for all the lights of cars. Indicators and head lights are they in order.
? Look for the temperature of the engine is it over heating.
? Look for the tires.

5. Get a Test Drive: While you are having a test drive you come to know the condition of the car and engine. Try to drive the car to its top speed and look if the engine is running smoothly. Look for the alignment of the wheels. Look for the smooth movement of the steering wheel turn right and left. Look if the breaks are in order.
6. Look for the papers: Go through all the paper this will give you a brief idea about the car. It is a single owner car? Has it been in a major accident? Which parts have been changed for this car? How old is this car? Is this car insured? Also look for the invoice.
7. Negotiate the price: have a through look at the car before negotiating its price. If some parts need to be changed then it should be taken into consideration while fixing the final price of vehicle.
8. Transfer Owner ship: this is the last thing that’s need to be done once you are sure with the car you can know get the vehicle transfer to you name. This means that now this car is been recorded into government record at you name.

About ten years back, Indian car industry was working silently and many car companies restricted the celebration of new car launches to certain limit. Even some companies would manage to issue a small piece of advertisement of their new launches elsewhere in the news papers in a very simple manner.

It was also equally difficult for people to get information of new car launches, details of their favorite cars and other information pertaining to recent cars. For buying a new car, buyers used to visit a showroom number of times for various reasons including to know exact prices, available variants, colours, time of delivers, loan amount, installment amount or mode of payment etc.

People would ask his friends, relatives and many others about their favorite car’s mileage, look, durability, colour and many other things before buying a car because buying a car was considered as most expensive thing in one’s life after house.

Those days, only few names of cars like Maruti 800 and old one Ambassador were quite popular among people because they got to see only these cars. We would not identify any other except these cars because information about other cars was missing.

But scenario has completely changed in the last two-three years. Buying of car is turned out to be very easy one for people. Today, buyers will approach the showroom to buy their favorite car with adequate information. They will have so much information that some time salesman or dealers of particular car would find it difficult to convince them

After IT boom in India, economic condition is started to improve at fast pace than beyond anybody’s imagination. Ultimately, that came as boon to auto industry, though IT boom revived many sectors, Auto industry is most benefited one.

Thanks to technological development and IT revolution in the country. In these days, people are getting more and more educated about cars and they are equally showing a lot of interest to study their favorite car before going to buy it.

As income level of middle class families began to soar, they turn their face towards auto industry to buy new cars. Within a span of two years, auto industry registered highest ever car selling in India than before.

Now, people are exposed to many sources to get information of cars. Due to media boom, many channels and news papers reared their heads in India. There are numbers of magazines are available with attractive pictures of new cars and every bit of information about car industry can be found in news papers and magazines.

Most of the National dailies have today reserved separate columns for car news and developments in car industry to keep the common man informed of car industry.

All most every private channel is giving a top priority to events related to new car launches and other car related issue. Today, we can find a lot of colorful car magazines in market at affordable cost.

Car companies are also not lagging behind in creating awareness about their cars. Each company is spending a huge amount of money for publicity. Now, they issue full page ads on News papers with details of cars, dealers and other important information even before the launch of their new cars. Many companies are appointing noted film stars and crickets as ambassador of their new cars to endorse it and also make ad films for television channels with them to advertise their cars that easily reach the common man.

Apart from this, now there many car portals are available to help lay man to educate them about car industry with technical specification, reviews, animation content, feature compare, pricings in different cities and much other relevant information of all cars which are now available in India. The people are now getting information of their favorite cars at finger tip by browsing such car websites.

Used Car Values

Determine the cars history.

When searching for a new or a second hand vehicle at car auctions or at car classifieds you find on the news paper or in the Internet, it is always wise to gather the vehicles information to get enough information in determining the used car value. You may ask the used car dealer, or the old vehicle owner about the cars service and damage/accident history. This will give you an idea on what are the cars components that you need to pay attention to most often. For example, if the car has some issues with the engine always overheating, by knowing this in the cars history, you will know that the radiator needs attention. Thus, you will know that other used cars (without engine temperature trouble history) value will be higher than this car.

Cars Pricing

Get a car that fits your budget.

Don’t be in a rush to purchase a car that you like. It is always advisable to do a little browsing first with all of the available resources, specially for those with a limited budget. As much as possible, get a list of the top 5 cars that you think you like and compare their cars pricing and values. Of course, everyone will want to choose the car that fits the lifestyle and the budget alloted for it.

Car Sites

Sites on line that offers new or used automobile for sale.

It is alright to shop for cars on line, though, you will only see the cars in pictures which can make the decision harder.

Before buying a car on line, make sure that the site you are using is not a fraud. The second thing you need to do is to search for all the list of the cars, that are with in reach and with in the budget limitations, and make sure to contact the seller or the dealer of the car and ask for all the cars info. This information includes the vehicle’s history (service and damage history), cars pricing and the last price he/she is willing to offer, description of the car (feature, make, model, year, transmission etc) and more extra pictures.

Try to negotiate the price as much as you could and also negotiate the shipping cost, on who will pay the shipping. It is always best to visit the car, if possible, to make the decision easier. If you will visit the car, you will be able to see more details in to it and you might be able to test drive the vehicle.

One site I have seen giving quality car services is OzFreeOnline. They provide free services for either a seller or a buyer. One can browse a free car listing or avail of the free car advertising service to get that automobile sold fast.

Lastly, be patient in searching and buying for your next car. Browse all free car listings as much as possible to expand your choice.

From lowering your insurance premiums to adding a teen driver to your policy, buying car insurance can be a confusing, overwhelming, and expensive process. However, it is a necessary part of life, and can save you a lot of stress and money in the future. It may seem like a daunting task, but there is an easier way to shop for car insurance quotes and rates. Before shopping for car insurance, read these frequently asked questions to ensure you get the best possible car insurance rate.

Q: Am I required to have car insurance?

A: Almost every state requires that you carry liability car insurance, which pays when you do damage to others. States that require liability car insurance each set minimum limits that you must have; even in states that don’t require car insurance, you must show proof of financial responsibility, meaning evidence that you can pay for any damage you cause.

Buying collision and comprehensive car insurance, and other optional coverage to protect yourself financially, is your own choice.

Q: Do I need to buy car insurance before I buy a new car?

A: If this is your first car and you don’t already have car insurance, you’ll need it before you drive the car off the lot. In addition, if you’re financing the vehicle, your lender will likely require you to have insurance at the time of the purchase.

If you have car insurance and you’re replacing your car, you generally have 14 to 30 days to notify your car insurance company of the purchase. Your car insurance rate will then be adjusted based on the new vehicle model. Make sure you inform your car insurance company about the new car within the appropriate window, or you could be driving without coverage.

If you’re adding a new car, rules vary by car insurance company. For example, some car insurers provide automatic coverage for the additional car, but you must still notify them within 30 days, while other car insurers provide no automatic coverage for additional cars.

Q: How can I lower my car insurance rates?

A: First, comparison shop for car insurance quotes to make sure you’re not overpaying. Then, always make sure you are getting all the discounts to which you’re entitled.

When you’re shopping for a new car, you can ask your insurer how much your car insurance rates will go up or down based on the vehicles you’re considering. For example, vehicles with high theft rates will cost more to insure.

There are other ways to reduce car insurance rates, although you’ll increase your potential financial risk. For example, you can increase your deductibles if you can pay more out-of-pocket in the event of an accident. And on older cars you might consider dropping collision or comprehensive coverage if repair costs will likely exceed the value of the car.

It’s generally not a good idea to save money by reducing your liability limits to your state minimums – that opens you up to substantial financial risk.

Q: How can I lower my car insurance rates for my teen driver?

A: First, don’t rush out to add your child to your policy when he/she is just starting to learn; you may be able to wait until he has his permanent license, which buys you some time before you start paying car insurance premiums on your teenager.

Second, find out if there are discounts your teen may be able to get, such as a “good grades” discount.

Third, consider buying an older, low-profile car for your teen to drive that will be less expensive to insure.

Most importantly, your teen driver needs to keep a clean record and follow any “graduated licensing” laws in your state; a teen with an accident record is an expensive proposition, no matter how much you comparison shop for a car insurance quote.

Shopping for car insurance can be much easier for you with the advice and tips above. Car insurance companies provide you with a very valuable service, but that doesn’t mean you should have to pay top dollar. Comparing car insurance rates can be time-consuming, but it will save you a lot of money in the future.

Car alarms are essential these days die to the growing number of car thefts. If you are looking for practical means to afford one, there are inexpensive car alarms sold in the market already. Make sure that even if it’s the cheapest car alarm, it is still of good quality.Body: Car alarms are electronic devices that are installed in a car or any vehicle in order to discourage thieves from stealing a car or a vehicle and its contents. Car alarms emit a high-volume sound when someone triggers the alarm. The sound of car alarms are usually like a klaxon, a siren, verbal warning, the own horn of the vehicle or a combination everything mentioned.

Listed below are some tips on how to buy an affordable car alarm with good quality. The tips will help you spot a good car alarm from the bad one. This will also help you find the best way to find an installer for your car alarm so as to avoid any problems from occurring.

• Most people search on the World Wide Web in order to look for a cheap car alarm. The internet is full of websites that sell car alarm accessories and car alarms. The internet is also the best place to find cheap car alarms. The newest model of car alarms are those that page the owner via its remote that can work even at a maximum of 3000 ft whenever there is an intrusion. There is also a model that is called a “GSM based car alarm”. This so-called GSM based car alarm will call the owner on its cellular phone if there is a possible intrusion to the car. This can even allow the owner to listen to the activity inside the car. With this new innovation, the owner can now shut down the engine and talk to the robber with just a push of a button from the owner’s cellular phone. Advancements in car alarms include the GPS feature where in the owner can track the car’s or vehicle’s whereabouts via cellular phone.

• Some people buy either directly from a dealer, purchase from a shop or via internet transactions. There are many kinds of alarms for your car and different brand names as well. In order to differentiate which car alarm is of good quality, check its wiring harness. The thicker the wire, the better. This is due to the fact that it can withstand the electrical current. Low quality car alarms use very thin wiring.

• Look at the diagram of the wiring. Most good quality car alarms use the same color coding. This is while car alarms of low quality use a different one. The idea of a universal color system makes an experienced installer install a car alarm in no time. If the color coding is different, the installer can have a hard and long time installing the car alarm. This can also waste precious time and money if ever the installer charges his services by the hour.

Below is a list of how the wiring must be coded.

The “RED” wire is equal to 12+ Positive
The “BLACK” wire is equal to Negative Ground
The “WHITE” wire is equal to Parking Lights
The “BROWN” wire is equal to Siren
The “BLUE” wire is equal to Shock Sensor or Sensor Input
The “ORANGE” wire is equal to Negative when Armed
The “VIOLET” wire is equal to Door Lock
The “PURPLE” wire is equal to Door Lock

The codes listed above are basically the wire connections on the car alarm’s main harness. Alarm systems have lots of wires but the ones listed above are most important ones that any customer must look for.

• When choosing a car alarm, buy the one that comes with or without the integrated immobilizer. In the United Kingdom, choose the Non Tatcham or Tatcham approved car alarms. Most cheap car alarms are easy to install or can be a DIY (Do It Yourself) type. The Tatcham approved alarms should be installed by a qualified and experienced installer.

• The cheapest car alarm that is of good quality is the Non Tatcham alarms that have no immobilizer. This car alarm is available via a do it yourself installation. The only thing that the owner will do is to connect the courtesy light, sensors, central locking and power supply. If the owner arms the car alarm, the “central locking technique” will allow the cars to lock as well as close the windows because of its automatic window closure technique.

• Most cheap car alarms cost only 100 dollars but their quality is superb! Listed here are two cheap car alarms:

1. Wrap Steering Wheel Lock: This car alarm is cheap and has a four-star rating. This kind of alarm covers the vehicle’s steering wheel so that the airbags will not be stolen. This steering wheel has a dual function since it works as a car alarm and a steering wheel lock. These are practically provided in one simple package. This is the reason why this car alarm has a high rating. The buyers of this product loved its results.

2. The so-called Crime Stopper: The “Crime Stopper” or the “CS2011DPII Deluxe Vehicle Security Alarm/Remote Start Combo” contains a siren that has up to 6 different tones. The tones of this car alarm is being projected at a high decibel level meaning no one will be able to ignore this alarm once it has been triggered. The “Crime Stopper has about 4 outputs where in 2 are programmable and the other 2 outputs are fixed. This car alarm also has about 30 diverse programmable options.

A used car always has faults that reduce the comfort of using the car or that must be repaired before using it comfortably and safely. This is all right, as long the prize you pay is not too high when you also add the prize, time and efforts for subsequent repair and adjustments. Here are some tips for checking a used car before any purchase.

BASIC PRINCIPLES OF ASSESSING A CAR BEFORE YOU BUY

The basic principles of assessing a used car before you buy it are:

- Look at everything.

- Test everything.

- Check the car’s history.

- Write down what you find.

Before you begin checking the car, make sure you have ready something to note down your findings upon.

If you only remember these four depicted principles, you will probably make a good assessment even without any more detailed plan. However, in the following a plan for the assessment is presented. It is not always possible to do it exactly as described, but try to follow the procedures as well as you can.

LOOK IT ALL OVER

Before starting the car, you should watch the whole car externally and internally in a systematic manner:

- Go around the car and watch every point. Look for broken windows, unclear windows, unclear or broken mirrors, bumps, rust or damaged painting.

- Then look especially well at the channels on the sides. Look for any rust and injuries.

- Try to open and close all doors. Look around the doors, both at the doors themselves and the frames around the doors. Try the locks in every door.

- Look at the wheels and the wheel suspensions.

- Look under the car. Look especially for rust, broken parts or unsymmetrical parts.

- Look into the luggage room. Look under carpets and covers. Look especially for cracks, rust or unsymmetrical parts. Such symptoms can indicate that the car has been subjected to an injury.

- Look into the motor room. Check for loose parts. Does everything seems solid and in place? Is there much rust? Are there signs of oil leakage? Is it very dirty, and what kind of dirt is present? Some dirt is normal, but extreme and unusual dirt should give you something to think about. Do you see any cracks or any asymmetry? Are there any signs of repair work done? Such symptoms indicate that the car has been through an accident.

- Try the suspension by bouncing each of the corners of the car. They should bounce only one or two times in every corner, and without any cracking noise.

- Look to see if the car has spare wheels, standard tools for repair and wheel shift, and both summer and winter wheels present.

- Then turn the key so that the electric systems are activated.

- Look at everything in the cabin. Look under the carpets. Sit down in all seats. Try all regulatory possibilities of the seats.

- Try all electric windows, electric mirrors and other commodities that are electrically operated.

- Try out all lights, including the signal lights and the serene. If some of them do not work, set in a new bulb, to see if this is the only problem.

- Try the radio, car computer, music equipment and any GPS navigation unit.

START THE MOTOR AND TEST

After having seen the car all over, it is time to start the motor. The motor should ideally be started when it is cold. A motor started easily when it is warm, does not necessarily start easily when cold.

- Start the motor. Does the motor start easily or not? Listen for sound of uneven motor work, sounds of vibrations or sounds of friction. Do you feel any vibrations outside the normal?

- When starting the motor, kick the brake pedal. It should easily go down and kick in the brakes when the motor is started. If not, the brake servo can be broken.

- Listen for unusual or high sounds from the exhaust system indicating breakage.

- Look at the dashboard panel. Do all indicators work? Does any indicator signal any problem?

- Try the steering by turning the steering wheels. How much do you have to rotate it before the wheels turn? It should not be more than around 2 cm or 0.8 inch.

- Try the window washers and the window wipers, and any light wiper and washers.

- Kick in the clutch, and try all the gears if it is manually geared.

- Try out the cabin heater or air conditioning.

TEST DRIVE

Then there is the time for a test drive. When you are test-driving the car, you should try out the following:

- Set the gearbox in reverse, and back out of the parking place. Does the gas and the clutch work smoothly when backing? Does the car get smoothly into motion?

- Set the car in motion forewords. Does the gas and the clutch work smoothly in foreword motion? Does the car get smoothly into foreword motion?

- Increase the speed and gear up to second gear if the car is manually geared. If it has automatic gearshift, just speed up until the second gear sets in. Are there any problems to go up one gear? If the car has an automatic gearbox, does the second gear kick in when expected?

- Try the breaks from a low speed. Is there any problem with the brakes, like poor action, vibrations or unmoral noises? Does the car pull to one side when you use the brakes?

- Park the car and note down all your findings so far. Then start again.

- Try a wider range of speeds, and the rest of the gears. If the car has an automatic gearbox, do the other gears kick in when expected? Does the motor feel quick, or is it lazy?

- Listen to the car mechanics. Is there any rattling or whining sounds from anywhere? Be especially aware of singling sounds from the gearbox or unexpected motor sounds.

- Watch out for any smell of gasoline, diesel, oil or anything burnt during drive?

- Does the car go in a straight line and direction at higher speeds, or does it wiggle or pull to one side. Is it still easy to steer it both to right and left? Is the steering accurate?

- Try the breaks from a higher speed and notice any irregularities.

- Look at the figures for motor temperature. Is it in the normal range?

- Finish by testing the reverse once again when parking.

- When finished the test drive, look into the motor room. Do you see any oil leaks, or water leaks, or is there any unexpected high temperature? Is there any smell of burnt substance? Is there any smell of gasoline or diesel?

- Note down all your findings.

CHECK THE PAPERS AND CAR HISTORY

Then, before buying the car, check all the papers.

- Look at the service book. Has the car had all its services?

- Look at all repair bills. All of these should ideally follow the car.

- Look at the mileage indicator to see how long the car has been driven.

- Take out a history report of the car from authorities, insurance companies or other instances offering such reports. An example of such a report is a Carfax report that can be taken out online.

- In some countries or areas dept issues or fines that an owner has generated follow the car to the new owner. Such issues are especially important to check out. How you can do so, will vary from place to place.

- Ask the seller about history issues, for example accidents the car has gone through. If you have found some signs indicating some issue, ask directly about them. Many sellers will be honest and tell any truth. In other cases you can guess from the way that the seller answers if he is lying or not.

DECIDING

At the end, you must decide several things based on the findings.

- First of all, is this really the car type you need? If not, decline the offer, even though everything looks fine.

If you have decided that this is the car type for you, then think further.

- Is the car in such a technical condition that it is possible to bring it to the standard you want? If not, decline the offer.

- Then think about how much time and effort the repair of the car will cost you. Even though you let a workshop repair the car, you must spend time by bringing the car to and from the workshop, by explaining what to repair, by waiting, by checking after repair, and so on.

- What do you think the repair of the car will cost?

- Now you can decide if the car is worth buying after all, and the maximal prize worth paying.

The purchase of a car can be very long and difficult process for some. In this article I will give the entrances and exits to buy a car when a used car or a new car. There are other aspects, I will be talking about how car insurance and car loans. Since the Internet revolution in car buying process has been strong, and we can getter better treated than ever before!

The first thing to do is research! Find out what cars you are interested in. If you buy a car for a while, so it is better so! The Internet is a good place to start when the investigation cars. There are many sites that have a wealth of information on all car models. Take a look around and find some cars that are in your price range. Note the brand and model cars for later use. If you buy a new car, you should also write the blue book value of the car. This comes in handy when a seller of cars trying to get extra money.

The next step in buying a new car’re. Take a look at your local car dealers and see whether it is one of the car models, which were interested in them to take a good piece of evidence to ensure that the car you like, and units. Sometimes looking for the best cars do not meet their needs or by car. Make sure that you just go and see! You do not even think to buy everything at this moment. Do not let a salesman cloud their judgement about the brand and model of car you want. You just want to sell more expensive (normally). Once you test driven a few cars, go home! A little more research into cars that are really interested and wanted. Once you’ve noticed that the car in its price class units and the way you wish, you can looking to buy.

The most important thing when it comes to the sale of cars not! You know how much your car is worth, because research on the Internet. Let the seller know that you have examined, and you know what you are talking about. The biggest tip when buying a new car is patience. Its ok to go to the car dealership a few times before you the price you want. Finally, if the price you want, buy it!

If you buy a used car’s very important to ask a lot of questions. There are a lot of things that people are not informed of their used cars. Ask for all cars upgrades, repairs, accidents and everything else. A good idea is also reviewing the VIN number on the Web and see all the information about the car. You can find almost all of these searches use of VIN numbers. I usually try to stay away from cars in buying a used car. The Internet is really a very good place to find used cars. EBay is a great resource for finding used cars. There are also some other sites for the sale of used cars, as Autotrader.com. Its also important to be patient when you buy a used car as well. Third-party providers are more willing to reduce their prices, and just want to get the car out of his hands. Give him some time, and that brings prices down.

I hope this article has given you much information about the purchase of new cars and used vehicles. Please note that your research and be patient. The purchase of a car is a difficult process, but in the application of these steps to the car you want at the price you can afford.

The car lover is a special person. The person that loves the modified car is even more unique. The modified car owner or enthusiast is very passionate about cars. To modify a car takes great interest in your car and also a knowledge of exactly what type of improvements can be added to that model and make of automobile. Not every modification will work for every model and make of automobile. It takes patience, passion and a great love for your car to make it into a modified car.

A great way to connect with other modified car lovers is to attend modified car events. These events specifically attract those that love modified cars. You’ll be able to speak to other people that dedicate hours to their home garages, tuning up their cars, painting and tweaking their cars to make them be the absolute best they can be. Even more fun, you get to see all of the cool modified cars at any modified car event — as every modified car owner brings their favorite modified car to the event. There are also unique cars on display to look at and admire.

A modified car event is an excellent time to pick up great tips on how to modify your car. When you are new to modifying your car, you’ll appreciate learning from others with more experience. For those that are more experienced, you can still pick up some great tips from other car modifiers. There is nothing else that can describe attending one of these events to meet someone that is modifying the same model and make of car that you are. The two of you can connect and commiserate about what has been easy and what has been the most difficult about this car. Connecting with fellow car modifiers is so beneficial.

Many of these events also have a competition, such as a race or a “Best Modified Car” competition. It can be great fun entering your car in this type of competition. Imagine coming home with a blue ribbon, knowing that your car is the best of the bunch. A little healthy competition can be a good thing and it is a great feeling having your hard work recognized.

Attending modified car events is also a great time to take to the open road in your modified car. Usually these events are held in a larger town that is centrally located for everyone to attend. This means many attendees must drive awhile to come to the event. However, no modified car owner is likely to complain about taking a short drive in their car! The chance to get out there and drive your car along the highway or a stretch of a new road is a great opportunity for a modified car owner. It also can be very exciting, as all of the modified cars start to gather and people realize that something is going on.

At any modified car event, your car is also certain to get some great compliments. There are some people that love modified cars, but don’t have one of their own. Perhaps they just don’t have the money for a modified car or they don’t know how to modify a car on their own. Therefore, for the moment they are an enthusiastic admirer of modified cars. After all of that hard work you have put into your car, it can be a great compliment to have many people admire it.

Modified car events are ideal for anyone that loves modified cars or unique automobiles. This is a great time to see cool modified cars and connect with others that love modified cars. Many modified car events happen each year, so you can plan on going to this event year after year.

When you go about securing a car loan the vehicle itself is used as the collateral on the car loan which is what makes the secured car loan itself. The car finance company online that you end up going with will then loan you the finances for the car based upon the cars current value at the time of the loan based upon the loan value of the car. This loan value will usually be about seventy five to eighty percent of the actual retail cost of the car itself. There is an answer to why this is the case and that is simply because one year after you drive a new car off of the car lot the value of it lowers to that amount which is called depreciation.

The car finance company online that you go with will want to make sure that the car loan they are giving you will cover this so that the overall end result cost of the car loan is equal to or less than the value of the loan itself. This is to ensure that they will be able to make a profit if they wanted to sell the car if they were to ever go about having to take it away from you for nonpayment at some point.

An upside down car loan online is when a car balance is worth more than the value of the loan that is on it. Another way of putting it is that the car itself is not worth the amount of the loan. In order for you to ever go about selling the car back or if you were to ever go about trying to trade it in you will find that you are going to have to pay the difference of the car value in cash in order for you to be settled up with the car loan company.

This is a very bad thing to find yourself into because even with great credit you can have a car loan lender approve you for the full amount of a car loan but as a result of that you could end up owing a lot more then you should for several years because you are always trying to pay down more of the balance then the car itself ends up being worth until you end up paying off a car to the value that it really is. Another problem with having this happen is that if you have car insurance it only will cover the cost of the book value on your car so in the event that you get into a major accident or if perhaps your call was stolen then you very well may end up being forced to pay the difference in cash.

This is something that you are going to want to make sure that you remember when you go to buy a new or used car online. You should make sure that you are going to stick with it for a while and that you do not over finance the worth of the car or you could end up in a really bad process where the end result is you paying a lot more money then you should be paying. You can avoid these things so long as you do the proper research and plan out carefully the car itself as well as the car loans that you go about getting for this car.

The other thing that you are going to want to be aware is that a car loan company may entice you with very low car loan rates in order to get you to end up financing more on the car than you should. You should only take these sorts of options if you are lucky enough to have the cash in hand to pay for something should the situation ever occur otherwise do not take the risk unless you understand fully what you may be getting into before this happens.

This is not rocket science in order to make sure that these things do not happen to you and your car loan so long as you are capable of following a few bad credit upside down auto loan guidelines online itself. The first thing that you are going to want to try and do is put down as much money as possible on your initial deposit on the car itself. The more money that you put down the less that you are ultimately going to need to pay and the less that you actually owe.

Try to take out a car loan with the short length car loans term as your budget sees fit. The longer the car loan term the less the monthly payment but the more money you will end up spending due to the car loan rates, so as a result of that try to find yourself a good middle ground. Make certain that you do not add in the taxes and the additional fees to the car loan itself. You want to make sure that the car loan is for the total value of the car itself because this is all that matters. If you are able to pay more than the monthly minimum payment each month then do so.

The more money you can pay off of the principle on the car loan the quicker you will be paying it off and less money you will be spending on paying off interest. If you have any sort of refinance upside down car loans on another vehicle make sure that you pay it off first before you go about getting another car loan.

Simply make sure that you are not paying more than what the car is worth in the first place so do your homework to avoid that one. Make sure that the car that you are getting a vehicle loan for falls into the budget that you have to spend each month. Try to hold onto a car for at least a couple of years because the first couple of years on your car loan the monthly payments that you are making are for the most part going towards the interest on the loan itself.

Whatever choice that you make when it comes to get any upside down auto loan it is really a matter of doing all of the research that needs to be done in order to make sure that you do not make the mistake of falling into an upside down car loans online.

A new car or a used car, both have their own benefits and drawbacks. A new car is always extremely appealing. But, as the price of new cars is increasing continuously, buying a used car is the best way. According to some reports, greater numbers of used cars are sold than the new ones.

These are the main problems or drawbacks people normally seen on a used car –

*it won’t give you the experience of being the first owner
*it doesn’t have the latest gadgets and features
*maintenance, accident and ownership history of used car can’t be easily verified
*maintenance costs associated with a used car are generally higher than a new car

Still there are many benefits of buying a used car. The chief benefits of buying a used car include wide selection, improved reliability and affordability. The price of used car is definitely much cheaper than the new car of the same model. Instead of buying a new car of lower range model, you can get higher range models and install luxury items within a used car with the same amount of money. The depreciation of used car is considerably less than that of a new car. Hence, it retains its original value when you want to resell it. The 2007-model-year vehicles are expected to retain most of their original values even after three years. The insurance cost for a used car is also less. Now-a-days you can get a used car of excellent condition, reliability and safety. The lower financing and insuring cost for a used car provides additional savings.

Certification Programs are also one of the reasons which make used cars as the better option. Only late-model, relatively low-mileage used cars and trucks with no history of major damage are eligible for their certification programs. Buyers should be aware that they should pay more for a certified used car than for a regular used car. According to reports, used car loan covers up to 80%- 85% of the cost of the car. In some cases it may be even 70% of the cost of the car. The used car loan may be of a lesser value due to the low cost of the vehicle. The interest rates of used car loans are little bit higher and the repayment tenures of used car loans are significantly shorter than those of new cars. The owner of used car loan should also bear the insurance costs and road tax so it is profitable to the one who buy a used car.

If you are in a plan to buy a used car, be aware of the benefits and drawbacks of the used car. Consider the factors such as your budget, the amount you can afford as monthly installments, how you want to use the car, etc., before deciding to buy a car. A wide variety of used cars are available for sale through online, so that you can search for a used car by make, model, city, price, year of manufacture, and mileage information. You can buy a used car from a private party or a car dealer. Consult used-car value guides and dealers to get an idea of the future worth of a particular model, before buying a car.

Those who own classic cars know the love, care and attention that go into taking care of these cars. Whether you drive it around or not, it is still a good idea to get classic car insurance that is made special for those who own classic cars. One of the reasons to get classic car insurance is because the classic cars are quite expensive thus it is more prone to thief compared to other types of cars. Since classic cars are more expensive and are exposed to higher risk of thief, getting a regular insurance coverage may not really be enough to protect your classic car.

To make sure that your classic car is fully protected, you should always buy adequate classic car insurance for your car. The good thing about a classic car insurance is that it allows to you ensure your vehicle based on its true value rather than stated value. Yes, getting classic car insurance may be a bit costly but if you really want to safeguard your car against theft, accidents and the likes, getting classic car insurance is a must.

About Classic Car Insurance

In America today, less that half of collector cars on the road are insured with classic car insurance. These policies have been available for a long time, but many people do not know about them. Most people have a regular insurance policy with high premiums and restrictive policies. You won’t get that with classic car insurance. Standard premiums can be at much as 500 percent higher. Why pay that much for such a limited amount of coverage?

There are a few different types of coverage that you have with classic car insurance. There is actual cash value that gives you the book value of the car on a claim, the state value that lets you state the value of the vehicle for coverage, and there is the agreed value that guarantees all of your money back in the event of a total loss. This is the only policy that will not depreciate over the years.

If you are wondering what is considered a collectible vehicle, it may be hard to define. There are many different types of cars that are collected these days, so to find out if your beauty is considered a collectible, you will want to contact a classic car insurance carrier in order to see if your car qualifies for this great insurance.

Finding the Very Best Classic Car Insurance

Before you start hunting for a classic car insurance company for your car, you need to find out first how much the true value of your car is. Getting the true value can sometime be tricky. Bear in mind that an insurance company will want to know how much insurance you want on your car so you need to know the true value of your car.

The value of classic cars can vary and it can be greatly increase based on its uniqueness, its model, its present condition, its age and its history. If your car has some really great history attached to it which can be verified, you can fetch a handsome price on that car. To determine how much is the true value of your classic car, bring your car to an appraiser who works with classic cars in your locality. The classic car appraiser should be able to give you the true value of your classic car.

After determining the market value which is the true value of your classic car, you may now start hunting for a classic car insurance company. First you should call those well known classic car insurance companies. Ask these classic car insurance companies for insurance quotes depending upon the true value of your classic car. When comparing insurance quotes from all these classic car insurance companies, pay close attention to the features of the policy and the cost. Make sure that the cost of the insurance is well justified. You do not really want to pay more money than you should on your car insurance.

If you are looking for a way to get ride of an old vehicle, you may want to consider a car donation. To donate a car, you simply have to contact a car donation services and they take care of everything else. Thus, donating your car to charity rather than selling it is more convenient and fast. Moreover, you help those who are in need of assistance when you donate your car and benefit from it through tax breaks in return. The IRS allows a deduction to your taxes payable equivalent to the proceeds from your car donation.

Before you donate your car to charity you will probably want to know how much will your car donation tax deduction be. The amount of your car donation tax deduction is covered by the 2005 revised federal tax legislation on car donations. This legislation describes two possible amounts for your car donation tax deduction- the gross sales amount and the fair market value of your car.

Gross Sales Amount

Before the tax legislation was revised in 2005, the fair market value of a car donation was the amount used for the donor’s tax deduction. However, the IRS found out that donors were claiming fair market values of donated cars based on the make and the model without considering the car’s condition. Since the fair market value is the amount agreed upon by the donor and the car donation services, the donors usually considered the book value of the car as the fair market value without taking account of depreciation and the needed refurbishing.

Car donation services usually either refurbish donated cars first or sell them as is at auctions where the true fair market values of the cars are considered. So if the cars were donated to them at a bloated fair market value, the amount that the car was sold for did not match this bloated value. The 2005 car donation tax legislation revision corrects this error by allowing only the gross sales amount of the donated cars as the donor’s tax deduction.

Fair Market Value

The legislation however, still allows that the fair market value of the donated car be used as the donor’s tax deduction provided that they meet certain conditions and paperwork.

Car donation services do not always sell donated cars. They may either use the car for their charitable causes or assign the car to a needy family or individual. If the donated car is used this way by the car donation services, the revised car donation tax legislation allows that the fair market value of the car is used as the donor’s tax deduction.

The necessary paperwork that the IRS needs for the fair market value tax deduction is an acknowledgment receipt issued by the car donation services. This paper must state that the car is used directly for their charitable causes, the donor’s tax identification number or social security number and the car’s identification number. Moreover, the IRS may also require that the document contain a phrase restricting the donated car to charitable uses only and not to any future sale.

Donating a car and reducing your taxes is very convenient and easy. There are already numerous car donation services online. All you have to do is: call their toll-free number, fill out the application form, and wait for your car to be picked up. But before that, you may want to check for a 501(c) (3) charity organization classification. This way you can be sure that your donation goes to charity and be assured that your car donation tax deduction is valid.

Car donations are eligible for fair market value tax deductions under the new tax laws when donated to programs such as that offered by United Society. Car Donation Tax Deduction is a perfect way to save your money Donate car to charity at vehicle donations program now!

The Truth about Hydrogen Fuel Systems

HHO or hybrid hydrogen oxygen is gaining much popularity these days. Perhaps its popularity can be due to the high prices of gas in the world market. A lot of car owners as well as homeowners want to know how hydrogen fuel systems work.

You might also be wondering how cars run with the use of hydrogen fuel. Well, all the questions running in your mind will be answered as you read on.

Some of the most frequent questions being asked by people are:

1. Are the hydrogen fuel systems difficult to assemble?
2. How does the system work?
3. Is the hydrogen fuel system a must nowadays?

These three questions will be answered before you even finish reading this article.

You don’t have to be an expert mechanic in order to assemble a hydrogen fuel system. You can find video and book instructions to help you with the assembly task. The HHO car kits are now widely available in major stores at a reasonable price. You can easily purchase the kits and later, you can assemble the various parts of the HHO generator.

Aside from the HHO kits, those who don’t like do-it-yourself activities can purchase ready-made hydrogen fuel system. But of course, if you opt for this alternative, it can be quite expensive. Try to compute your yearly gasoline expenses. The cost of the ready-made hydrogen fuel system is still not that expensive. With a one-time investment on the system, you can expect a lot of savings in the coming years which you can use in purchasing other more important items.

Some people don’t want to conduct internet researches because they feel that they will be overloaded with pieces of useless information. Even if you’ve gathered the needed information, it is useless if you don’t take time to read. In order to know how the hydrogen fuel systems work, you have to do your homework.

You must read and understand everything so that you will better understand the process. The ‘Electrolyzer’ will produce HHO fuel from the mixture of oxygen and hydrogen. The hydrogen fuel is sent to a carburetor or an intake manifold so that the vehicle will run smoothly; achieve better mileage, calmer engine, faster acceleration, etc.

A lot of people find themselves at a great loss due to the very high price of gas. If you make use of Hydrogen technology, you can enjoy the benefits that come along with it. By using hydrogen fuel systems, you can save a lot of money, save the planet by decreasing the emission of greenhouse gases, and you can also keep your car in peak performance.

If you can enjoy these benefits, is there anything else you can ask for? It’s like hitting two or more birds with one stone, right? You simply have to know your fuel options.

With the rising price of gas and basic commodities, you will need to look for an effective alternative energy source.

What are Hydrogen Fuel Cells?

There are already several alternative sources of energy. One of these alternative sources was originally intended for space programs but now, some studies are already considering it for car use. Hydrogen fuel cells are indeed gaining much attention in today’s times when there is a great need for another energy source.

The hydrogen fuel cells are just like traditional batteries. A chemical reaction produces electricity and electrical charge. However, there is still a difference. You see, with batteries, power is produced if the cell is continuously supplied with hydrogen. To understand how the fuel cells work, read on.

The cell’s size and hydrogen flow determines the electricity produced. When a chemical reaction occurs between air and hydrogen, three things are produced namely – heat, water, and electricity. Fuel cells lower heat output as compared to other sources of energy like the fossil fuels. But still, there are advantages in using hydrogen fuel cells.

One obvious advantage is that fuel cells are clean since the byproducts are heat and water. These byproducts can’t harm the environment. Fuel cells have efficiency rates ranging from 45-53% as compared to gasoline with only 20% efficiency rate.

Whenever electricity is required, you can use fuel cells. The size of fuel cells is scalable. Fuel cells can therefore be created small to power an MP3 player or even large enough to give a town its needed electrical power. Aside from providing electrical power to certain things, it can also supply the needed rotary power by cars.

At present, car manufacturers worldwide are looking at hydrogen fuel cells are an alternative to the combustion engines. There are already pictures of hydrogen powered vehicles online; if you want, you can check them out if you have the time. If ever the hydrogen powered vehicles will become a reality in the near future, the dependency of many countries to petroleum will be reduced and not only that, pollution will be cut down.

Currently, fuel cells are installed in some neighborhoods and industrial buildings to provide electrical power. Within the next 50-100 years, hydrogen fuel cells will completely replace petroleum since they have broad social and commercial applications. Remote settlements can now depend on fuel cells for power. Portable devices can also be provided with renewable power through the fuel cells.

Countries from all over the world are looking for a clean and dependable energy source. With the continued support from the government and commercial establishments, the use of fuel cells will soon be a guaranteed success.

Hydrogen fuel cells are truly great but there’s one consideration. In order to produce fuel cells, energy is needed and at present, fossil fuels serve as the source of energy. Scientists and experts are still conducting studies and researches to find other ways to produce fuel cells safely. At the moment, fossil fuels are being used to produce the hydrogen fuel cells but hopefully, new sources of energy will be discovered to further improve its production.

How Hydrogen Fuel for Cars Work

You can now find hydrogen fuel for your car or cars and experience the many benefits it can provide. Some hydrogen cars are still being tested to prove its efficiency but time will come when these cars will be fully accepted on the road. It would be very beneficial if there are lots of hydrogen stations all over the world; well, who knows… perhaps that time will come too.

The demand for hydrogen fuel for cars will soon increase as the source of hydrogen fuel becomes stable. With the use of hydrogen powered vehicles, you can enjoy driving for about a month without refilling the tank; that’s discrete mileage, right? At present, fully hydrogen powered cars are not yet available.

However, the existing car engines can now be modified and converted. Once modified, the cars can use hydrogen as fuel. By 2010, some car manufacturers are going to launch fully hydrogen powered cars that can answer today’s energy and environmental problems.

With very few hydrogen fuel for cars at the moment, the price is too high for ordinary individuals to afford. But no one can really tell if the hydrogen fuel cars will soon be reasonably priced. At the moment, you can have your vehicle converted so that you can get the feel of driving a hydrogen fuel vehicle. Rest assured that you can save lots of money because you will be using water instead of gasoline. If you want to gain 35-100% increase in mileage, have you car converted the soonest.

Driving conditions differ and this is one thing to consider when using hydrogen fuel vehicles. The car of tomorrow will have an HHO fuel cell. This fuel cell can even be made at home. There are HHO car kits so that you can easily build the fuel cells since the building instructions are included in the kit. If you want, you can also purchase the needed materials and then look for the building instructions online.

How do hydrogen fuel cars work? The process is not hard to understand. Once the car is converted, you can now use clean water as fuel. The water molecules are separated and then the gases are forced into a combustion chamber. In the chamber, the gases are burned and in turn, energy is produced. Now, the car has power and you can enjoy driving for as long you like. Not only is the hydrogen fuel car cost effective, but it is also environment friendly as well. It can reduce pollution and the emission of greenhouse gases.

So, if you want to save the environment and cut-down your gasoline costs, have your vehicle converted now. Well of course, you need to consider if there are hydrogen stations in your locality. Otherwise, you will depend largely on your water source at home. You must know your options before you convert the car. It will involve a certain amount of money and you have to be prepared for it. And when new and fully hydrogen fuel cars are sold for the public, you can buy the car; that is, if you can afford one.

You have to learn more about hydrogen fuel for cars. If you want, you can take advantage of the various resources online and gather the needed information. You have to know how the hydrogen fuel car works so that you can appreciate it even more.

Hydrogen Fuel: Convert Your Vehicle Now

Water fuel, hydrogen fuel, whatever you may want to call it – it all pertains to one thing. Many years ago, people would have been reluctant in using the hydrogen technology but now, it is gaining popularity all over the world particularly in rich countries like the US, Europe, and Canada. If you want to use hydrogen fuel, convert your vehicle now.

The Earth is made up of 75% water and that you learned in your elementary days. With this fact, scientists conducted various studies to prove that water can be a source of fuel energy. Unfortunately, water alone can’t be used to power a vehicle. What you need is a conversion tool and an HHO generator. Still, water is an integral part in hydrogen technology.

One of the greatest scientists who studied about the viability of water as source of alternative fuel is Nikola Tesla. Although he had made a lot of discoveries, all his studies were not revealed to the public. Most of Tesla’s inventions were ‘futuristic’ and ordinary individuals can’t understand them.

Hydrogen technology is not new and it has been in existence for many years now. Recently, hydrogen powered cars are gaining much popularity. This knowledge brought tension in the market because gas-producing companies will be terribly affected if more hydrogen powered vehicles are manufactured.

On the other hand, the invention of hydrogen powered vehicles has brought much attention to the problems here on Earth like pollution and global warming.

At present, thousands of converted cars are now using ‘water’ to fuel their vehicles. But of course, you need to convert first your car before you can make use of water to power your car. Will you believe that you can increase mileage from 75-100%? That sounds unbelievable, right? But the facts prove it; in fact, if you try to check online customer testimonials and product reviews, you will read positive testimonials about hydrogen fuel.

Perhaps you’ve also seen TV interviews about satisfied car owners who are already using hydrogen technology. If you’re a car owner and your head hurts badly because of the expensive cost of gasoline, convert your car now. You don’t have to take the car to a mechanic because you can either do the conversion on your own or purchase a ready-made HHO generator and conversion tool.

The latter is a bit expensive because it can cost about $800. But once the hydrogen fuel cell technology is installed in your car, you can enjoy many years of driving with reduced gasoline expenditures. Aside from saving massive money, your car will function at its best. It will make your car less noisy and the gears can be shifted smoothly. You will surely enjoy traveling without worries.

So, do you want to be a happy and contented driver too? Use hydrogen fuel, covert your vehicle now. This is a very important decision that you have to make. Anyway, if ever you’re not satisfied with the performance of the hydrogen technology, you can readily remove it from your car. You can again use gasoline to power your vehicle.

Since a great percentage of car owners who converted to hydrogen fuel are happy, then maybe you might find it cost-effective as well. So far, this is the best alternative source of fuel energy for cars. Join the happy drivers, earn savings, and save the planet.

The environment definitely need help nowadays and the hydrogen fuel cars might be of great assistance.

Now you know what hydrogen fuel cells are all about. The fuel cells are not mainly used for providing electricity because currently the automakers are trying to manufacturer cars that are fueled by hydrogen.

Now that you know the very important things about hydrogen fuel systems, don’t you think that its time for you to try it out? You don’t have to buy a new car because your existing car will do. You simply need to purchase a HHO car kit or buy a ready-made hydrogen fuel system. If you want to keep abreast with the developments of hydrogen fuel cells, log on to the internet and you will always be kept up to date. It is always good to be well-informed. Start shopping for it now.

A new Car for any home is like the addition of a new member to the family and owners take great pride and great pains to maintain the beauty and upkeep of the Car. Although a Car seems like a single object, it is in fact made up of thousands of parts, big and small. None of them is less important than another and all parts work in tandem together to make up a whole unit of a single Car. But as time goes by, the Cars start to age just like any other thing in this world. The truth is that with usage over the years, the Car itself and Car parts, including the Car Engine, start wearing down due to the wear and tear, and daily usage.

The Car Engine and Car parts start wearing down after a few years of driving a Car, and if the use of the Car is heavy, they may even start wearing down in a few months. The only option in this situation is to replace the Car Engine and Parts with new ones. Car Engines and Car parts can last longer with regular maintenance and servicing, and you may not have to spend as much on replacing the engine/parts if you are careful and stick to a proper schedule of maintenance and servicing. There are hundreds of parts that suffer wear and tear due to heavy usage and some of these parts are more prone to wearing down than others. Some of the parts of a Car that suffer heavy wear and tear are the Car Engine, Brakes and brake liners, Carburetor, Belts, Air Filter, starter, Clutch, gearbox, ignition coil, oil filter, spark plugs, etc.

The Car Engine is the heart of a Car and is made up of many hundreds of parts and components, although it looks like a single unit. A problem with a single component could stall the car. A problem with the engine or any other car part leads to inefficient use of the cars potential. Some of the parts are more important and crucial, not only for the smooth running of the car, but also for the safety of the driver and passengers of the car. One such part or unit of the Car is the Brake system. The braking system of a car is the most important unit or part of a Car. Without a proper braking system or worn out brakes, a Car is dangerous not only for its passengers, but also pedestrians and other cars. A speeding car with improper braking system or worn out brakes, can quickly turn into a deadly projectile and cause irreparable damage, if the brakes fail. Therefore, t braking system of a car must be in top condition and be maintained and checked regularly for wear and tear of the brake disks, brake liners, and brake oil.

Just like the braking system of a Car, there are other crucial and important Car parts, which should be taken care of and serviced, maintained, or replaced on a regular basis. The Car Engine, which is the heart of the Car should be serviced and maintained regularly to ensure a long life for the Car. If a Car Engine is not working properly even after servicing and maintenance, it should be replaced as quickly as possible. A properly serviced and maintained Car is a friend in deed and will never fail you in times of critical medical emergencies, or family outings, and will always be at your service. A well maintained Car with properly serviced, maintained Car parts and Car Engine is a life long friend.

Children should ride rear-facing in a car seat until they reach at least 1 year of age and weigh at least 20 pounds. Parents are tempted to turn the car seat around, before the child is old enough, because it is difficult to see the child when they are rear facing. The baby would rather be turned around also, so they can see Mom and Dad. You must resist doing this, because it is not safe. Your babies neck is just simply not strong enough to take the force that is caused by a car accident. So as hard as it is, these guidlines must be followed.

Different Rear Facing Car Seats
There are 2 kinds of rear-facing car seats. There are infant-only seats and convertible seats. Infant car seats are small and have a handle for carrying the seat. Many of these come with a stroller system that the seat can snap into. Infant car seats can not be installed front-facing. Infant car seats can only be used for up to 22 to 30 pounds depending on the seat. Each manufacture is different, so be sure to check their specifications. They are more commonly used for infants, because they can be used as a carrier also. The baby can be set in them in the grocery store, doctors office or where ever you go. Make sure to keep your baby strapped in at all times, to prevent them from slipping out.

Many infant car seats come with a base for the car. You attach the base in the car and then you can just pop the car seat into it. This is nice because you don’t have to mess with the seat belts every time you put your baby in the car. You have the option to buy extra bases to use if you have multiple cars. Some car seats can be put in with or without the base. That might be something you’ll want to look for. Then if you ride with someone else you won’t have to move the base out of your car to use in another car.

Convertible car seats can be used rear-facing until the baby is old enough and then they can be turned around. This saved you money, because you can use the seat longer. These can be used for a couple of years depending on the size of the child. They take up more room and are not meant to be taken in and out of the car. They are rated to be used rear-facing for higher height and weight, so they are great for babies that are bigger or taller.

Types of Harnesses
The 5-point harness is the most secure. They attach on both sides of the babies shoulders and the hips. And then between the legs. These are used in infant only car seats and in convertible car seats.

The T-harness is a padded t-shaped or triangle-shaped shield attached at both shoulders and then between the legs. It would be considered a 3-point harness. These are used in infant only car seats and in convertible carseats.

The overhead shield has a padded tray-like shield that comes over the child’s head and rests in front of the baby. This one only applies to the convertible car seat.

Installation

Always make sure the car seat is tightly installed. The harness should fit snugly around your baby. Never use a car seat in the front seat of a car with a passenger air bag. If it inflates, it will cause serious injury to your baby or even death. Check the harness slots. They should be at or below your babies shoulders. If the seat belts in your car require locking clips, then make sure you use them. All car safety seats should come with locking clips. Check your vehicle manual. Most newer cars do not need locking clips. If you are using a convertible seat in the rear-facing position, make sure the seat belt is routed through the correct belt path. Read the instructions that came with the car safety seat to be sure. If your vehicle was made after 2002, it may come with the LATCH system, which is used to secure car safety seats. Make sure the seat is at the correct angle so your infant’s head does not flop forward. Many seats have angle indicators or adjusters that can help prevent this. If your seat does not have an angle adjuster, tilt the car safety seat back by putting a rolled towel or other firm padding (such as a pool noodle) under the base near the point where the back and bottom of the vehicle seat meet.

Always use the instruction manual that is provided with the car seat. It is the safety of your that is at hand, so make sure you use the car seat the proper way that it was intended.

Car Salvage is a huge business and presents many opportunities for someone looking for a cheap car or cheap spare parts for their cars. If you cannot afford to buy a brand new car from a showroom or do not wish to buy a 20 year old used car, or wish to buy a second car for the family, buying a car from Car Salvage is the best option. You may be lucky and find your dream car within your budget at Car Salvage.

A Car Salvage company may have many cars of many brands and models, for sale, including crash damaged cars, bikes, vans, and many other types of vehicles. You can also find listings for slightly damaged or rain damaged cars that come directly from insurance companies.

A registered Car Salvage company has listings and auctions for the damaged cars that are offered by insurance companies after settling claims, and to compensate for the insurance write offs. Some people are just put off by Car Salvage Auctions, thinking that the cars must be scrap. But not all cars in a Car Salvage listing and auction are crash damaged and good only for scrap metal. Only those cars that are deemed repairable are listed. Many of them are rain damaged or damaged in some other way, or a stolen and recovered vehicle. There are varying degrees of damage to a car that come up for auctions. You can take the advice of your local garage owner and view the listings, with the details, in a Car Salvage auction, along with the prices, and discuss the cost of repair with the garage owner. You can get a fair idea of what you should bid and the final cost after repairs. You may be lucky and find a car in very good condition, with very little damage, and low cost of repair. You should also take into account the charges levied by the Car Salvage Company.

The process is simple enough and most Car Salvage Companies have websites with listings and registration process being conducted online. You do not even have to shell out all the money at once, and just have to pay a deposit, but you do have to register first. You can then request the Car Salvage Company to bid on your behalf in the auction, for the car that you have selected. If your bid wins, you pay the balance and complete the paperwork and you own the car. If you lose the bid, the deposit can be retained with the Car Salvage Company for a bid on another car. Whichever way it goes, buying a car from an auction is not all bad if you are careful.

Besides cars, you can also find motorcycles, vans, and other types of vehicles of many brands, makes, and models in Car Salvage listings and auctions. Besides vehicles, you can also find spare parts for your vehicles. You can find spare parts cars, bikes, vans, and other vehicles in the listings. You will just have to spend time looking through the listings or search for a specific brand, make, and model within your budget and price range. The market is huge with hundreds of vehicles and spare parts with the best prices and few hassles. If you are knowledgeable about cars and spare parts, it should not be a problem in selecting a car or looking for a spare part. But if you have very little knowledge about cars, parts, and repairing costs, etc, it would be better to take the advice of a garage owner you know, who will not only advice you, but also repair the car.

The future of Indian cars is purely dependent on advancements and innovations.

Just go back to the olden days when the old Fiat Padmini and Hindustan Ambassador were shinning on Indian roads. At that period of time, did anyone of us thought that the car market will prosper to such a height? No one of us ever imagined such a speedy and accelerated growth of the Indian market.

Since that old Fiat and Amby were introduced, the Indian car industry has travelled a long and bumpy road. Fortunately, today the industry shines at the top with a good number of cars running on roads. It also plays a key role in the industrial and economic development of the country.

Today, the Indian industry is flying with the wings of technology, advancement and innovation. The first car manufactured as a result of technological advancement is Maruti Suzuki 800 in 1983, a car that revitalized the Indian automobile sector. This car was a productive result of a joint venture between Government of India and Suzuki Motors of Japan. Thereafter, many car manufacturers across the world entered the Indian car market.

Some of the biggest car manufacturers who have set up their manufacturing facilities in India are Tata, Toyota, BMW, Audi, Ford, Skoda, Volkswagen, Mitsubishi, Suzuki, Honda, Hyundai, Maruti, Mercedes, Chevrolet Fiat, Mahindra, and Volvo. These manufactures are currently producing the world’s best car models, progressively booming the India’s economic growth. Some of these companies are also importing cars and other car accessories to meet the increasing demand of car market in India.

The reason why many foreign manufactures entered the Indian markets is availability of highly skilled engineers, low cost labor, technical know how, less investment, cheap machinery and raw materials, established quality systems and rewarding returns. Even the cost of production is reduced to about 25-30% as compared to overseas production. This pace of advancement and improved production not only paved way for foreign manufacturers but also provided enhanced ability to Indian car manufacturers for producing better models.

With the increasing number of cars running on the Indian roads, the future of Indian car industry is also running with a very high velocity. One of the leading car manufacturing companies, Ford, is planning to make India a regional hub for exporting small cars and engines. At the other edge, Skoda is planning to source some of the European operations from its Indian facility. It is believed that this operation will increase indigenization level for all the Indian cars to almost 70%, providing Indian cars a competitive edge in the global market.

Many car manufacturers are rolling out new cars and many are in pipeline. Today, the car market is congested with world class cars like the Volkswagen Jetta, BMW 7 series, Maruti Suzuki SX4, Ford Fiesta, and Honda Civic. Tata Motors is all set to roll out the world’s cheapest car, Hyundai Motors waiting to announce the launch of Hyundai i20, and Maruti Suzuki awaiting the launch of the global car, Maruti Suzuki A-Star. Likewise, many other car manufacturers including Volvo, Volkswagen, Mercedes-Benz, BMW, Honda Seil, Rolls Royce Phantom, and even Skoda has a slew of launches in their pipeline for the Indian car industry.

Apart from new cars rolling every day on Indian roads, there are many new features added to the cars. Cars are also becoming automated with the use of automatic transmission system. Some of the high-end technological dazzlers are loaded with advanced and top-notch technical features. Along with, the entry of alternative fuel options is also expected to hit the Indian car industry. India will also have cars powered with air and water in future.

So, the future is definite and India is soon to hit the world’s car market and become the third largest car industry after US and China. All the domestic and foreign car manufacturers are making various advancements in the car models with respect to design, technology, fuel efficiency, colors, innovation, style, performance, luxuries and price. These advancements are constantly flourishing the Indian car market, a market that has transformed from a small ray to a competitive sunrise industry.

Used car market in India is popping up across the country. The key success of the used car market lies in the words of Ratan Tata, Chairman of Tata Group. Ratan clearly said that the future of Indian car industry completely depends on those who are yet to drive.

Increasing price of new cars promises the car manufacturers and dealers a guaranteed success of used car market. Different players or car manufacturers are giving a try to this concept while some have even set up their own certified used car showrooms. These showrooms are established for potential buyers of used cars across the globe.

The Indian used car market is dominated by Maruti’s Suzuki TrueValue program. Maruti Suzuki True Value is a certified used car showroom that was opened in 2001. Researches and studies have indicated that this outlet fetches majority of used cars to their consumers. Experts from the company refurbish and verify the old cars. The company also provides a limited time period servicing guarantee so that the buyers are comfortable and at ease when planning to buy a used car.

As Maruti, other big players like Toyota, Hyundai, Honda, and Ford have also hit the Indian used car market. Toyota with its Toyota You Trust brand, is hitting the market with a rigid competition from Honda’s Auto Terrace, Ford’s Ford Assured and Hyundai’s Hyundai Advantage. Toyota You Trust Brand, Honda Auto Terrace, Hyundai Advantage, Ford Assured and Mahindra & Mahindra First Choice are certified outlets of the respective car manufacturers. These manufacturers have appointed skilled and technical expertise to focus on the refurbishing and smooth running of used cars.

Let’s learn why the Indian market for used cars is growing progressively. It is mainly because of the increasing price range coupled with luxuries that injected a thought of exchange offer in the minds of Indian populace. There are people who want to switch over to higher segments and luxuries. In order to switch over, they sell their old cars and buy new luxury cars for themselves. The same cars are then refurbished and sold out to those who want to switch over from two wheelers to four wheelers. People started buying new cars by exchanging their old cars. Such an exchange offer holds incentive for both the car buyers and car manufacturers. Most of the car manufacturers take this as an opportunity to push up the sale of their new cars. With the growth of car market, it is expected that the number of pre owned cars will increase which will effectively give rise to the used car market.

Statistics say that Maruti Suzuki sells more than 90,000 used cars through its certified True Value network. The network has gained high acceptance and prominence in the market. Car financers have reported a growth of 25-30% in the last couple of years. The consistent model enhancement and continuous replacements by car companies have eventually lowered the prices of used cars. In the last few years, the prices have dropped down to almost 10% to 15%, making the consumers flock to the market. This further gives a golden opportunity to consumers to maximize their worth for money and make a cheap deal.

No doubt, the US and France have the highest segment of used cars but it is believed that India is ready to outshoot the record in next few years. Don’t forget we have the second largest population, so if everyone starts buying new cars and selling used cars, we will definitely have the highest number of used cars running on the Indian roads.

Last weekend I was out looking to buy a new car – a Holden Calais 60th anniversary edition in fact. I had been to a few dealerships and finally made a decision to buy. The salesman asked whether I had pre-arranged a new car loan. I hadn’t done so and as a result I was ushered into the office and bombarded with a whole heap of numbers relating to a proposed new car loan. What I couldn’t understand was how instead of telling me an interest rate the dealer focused on the monthly installment and making sure I was happy with that. He juggled around with the residual value so that the new car loan amount was reduced when I indicated that I would struggle with the new car loan payments he first calculated. It’s funny how when you are considering a new car loan all you want is..to take delivery!! You don’t often take the time to run the numbers and actually establish just what interest you are paying. I decided to contact my mortgage broker – he had looked after me when I had recently applied for a cheap home loan and at the time had said he could also help with a new car loan if I was ever in the market. I am always astounded at the level of knowledge of my mortgage broker. He has his finger on the pulse – not just with mortgage finance but also with new car finance. He knows who is in the market, what their terms and conditions are, who is offering the best rate… why a new car loan with Lender A might be better than a new car loan with Lender B even though the monthly installment due with Lender B is lower than the new car loan repayment with Lender A. What really surprised me was threat my mortgage broker was also able to source me the identical car at a lower price. It seems that some mortgage brokers and lease brokers have arrangements in place with car dealerships whereby they can get the car cheaper. This is apparently because car dealerships often have a bonus structure operating and if a certain volume of cars are sold within a month then the bonus kicks in from the manufacturer. If say a car dealer needs to sell 30 cars in the month and coming in to the end of that month he is sitting at 28 cars then the bonus amount he will lose if he does not reach his volume target will be significantly higher than the amount by which he could discount the sale price to you. This guy is not worrying about the new car loan he just wants to ensure the target is reached. He’ll worry about the new car loan once he has secured the deal with you. As a random buyer you are not aware of these statistics but where a mortgage broker or lease broker deals with new car finance they will often know where the car dealership’s sales are at and whether the timing might be right to negotiate a good deal. I ended up a very happy chappie because I obtained a new car at a lower price with a new car loan that really suited me well.

With the fast depreciation of new vehicles, the wise car buyer will shop for a used car rather than a brand new one. If you are in the market for a new used car, you need to know what to do to avoid buying a lemon or paying way too much for a vehicle. After all, just because a car is used doesn’t mean that it can’t be a great vehicle for a great price!

Where to Find Cars for Sale

You can find cars for sale a variety of places. Almost all dealerships have some used cars available that they received as trade-ins, even if they specialize in selling new vehicles. You can also buy directly from a car’s owner. Check newspaper and online classifieds to find cars that are currently for sale. Keep your eyes open as you drive around town to see cars that have for sale signs in their windows.

You will probably see some cars parked along the side of the road for sale. These are often for sale by individuals who fix up cars and then resell them for profit. You can sometimes get a good deal on one of these cars, but make sure you do your research before buying one. It could have a problem that the seller is hiding or does not know about.

Figuring the Car’s Value

You do not want to buy the cheapest car on the market. Extremely low prices usually are there for a reason. What you want is to find a good deal, which means a good car that is priced at the low end of what it is worth. Remember, a cheap car is likely to need costly repairs in the near future.

How can you know how much a car is worth? One resource to use to check a car’s value is Kelley Blue Book. This online resource allows you to search using the car’s make, model, year, and condition. It will show you the average selling price for cars similar to the one you are considering. Look for a car in the middle to low end of the price range shown. Keep in mind that cars priced well below the value may have an underlying problem that you cannot see when you take them for a test drive.

Decide the Type of Car You Want

The type of car you want will depend on many different factors. If you have children or anticipate having children in the near future, make sure that you choose a vehicle that has enough room in the back seat for a car seat. Many compact vehicles do not accommodate rear-facing car seats, even though they have a back seat.

You will need to decide how important fuel economy is. A large SUV will have enough room for your children’s seats, but it is going to drink gas. If you intend to drive the vehicle long distances on a regular basis, you need something a little more fuel-efficient.

As you consider the type of car you want, be sure to consider how much the insurance will be. Car insurance providers charge different rates for various vehicles based on their safety ratings and overall crash histories. Talk to your insurance provider about the rates on the different vehicles you are considering. You will find that two vehicles with very similar features will have very different insurance rates.

Mileage and Age Considerations

As you search through the classifieds for your next used car, make sure you pay attention to the mileage on the vehicle. A car with more than 155,000 miles is not going to last long. However, a car with low mileage may not be a good idea either if the car was driven poorly. Find out from the buyer what percentage of the miles were highway miles if you can. Highway driving is not hard no a car’s engine. If a car with high mileage was driven on a long commute over the highway, the engine will be in better shape than a car with low mileage that was driven by a “soccer mom” around town to the kids’ activities.

You also want to consider the age of a car. Cars, no matter what type they are, do not age well. A car that is more than ten years old is going to take your hard earned money over and over for costly repairs. Even if the car was rarely driven, it can still have worn out parts simply because the parts are old. If you need a bargain, shop for a car that is five or six years old.

The Purchase Process

Once you find a car that you like, run a vehicle history report on it. You can also ask the seller if you can take it to a trusted mechanic to get checked out. These two steps will help you avoid purchasing a car with hidden problems.

If you are satisfied that the car is right for you, be sure that you negotiate the price. Most buyers are willing to take a few thousand less than they have priced the car. Dealers always price the car higher than what they must sell it for, so do not be afraid to make a lower offer. Keep the attitude that you have many other cars to choose from, and you will be able to get a lower price.

Once a price has been agreed to, you will need to pay for the car. If you are using a loan, get a check from your bank that you can use to buy the vehicle. The title will then be transferred to you. If you are buying from a dealership, the dealer will probably handle the legal aspect of the title transfer. If you are buying from a private seller, you will have to follow the rules of your local DMV to transfer the title from the seller’s name to your name. You will be required to show proof of insurance before you can transfer the title, so be sure that you add the car to your insurance policy as soon as you have purchased it.

Australian cars or cars from Australia have different fuel consumptions. The fuel consumptions of cars in Australia are depends on the brand of the car, type of the car, about the driving skills of the driver, and it has something to do with the road also. It has something to do also in the engines of the cars. And of course the fuel consumption of new car is different from the used cars already. According to the used car dealers, their car is less in fuel consumption. Really? Yes, I agree on that but like what I’ve said it depends on the engine and type of the car. Fuel consumptions is one of the major topic when it comes to buying a car. Because the price of fuel is high. So, we need to buy a car that consume only less fuels. For example, we need to find a car that consume 25km/L. But usual cars can only have 11km/L consumptions. Its up to you were to find a car that consume 1 liter of gas that runs for 25km. For me, I want to feature the used cars from Australia that gives full satisfactions to us as a car lovers.

There are lot of used cars that offers online. If we talk on the fuel consumption of it. It was merely deals on the economical consumptions of fuel. Well, fuel consumption of a car is one of the mainstream in finding a perfect car. You have a good looking car but it consume fuels like drinking a bottle of liquor in 1 minute. In finding a car, don’t just look for the nice look of it. Try to make your choice in the quality of the engine and the fuel consumption of it. If we talk on the fuel consumptions, it is better to find a car that can run at least 15km/L. So that’s good enough instead of having a car that can run only 10km/L. There are difference between the fuel consumptions of the car in city consumptions than on highway consumptions. City consumptions are driving only around the city while highway consumption is driving going to out of town or have a visit in the provinces. In Australia, the city fuel consumption is lesser than highway consumption. For example, city consumption can run 9-10km/L while the highway consumption can only run 6-8km/L.

In causes of burning more fuel, there might be improper inflation of the car tires, there might be too much weight of the car causing by many things inside of it, and there are also some engine accessories that keep the engine burning more fuels. For you to get more mileage and having an economical fuel consumptions, avoid traffics because traffics can keep your car burning a fuel. Drive smoothly, don’t put your weight on the the gas pedal. Step on the gas smoothly. Don’t carry more than you need on your car. Reduced unnecessary accessories into your cars. And for having a trip, make sure your car is properly maintained. Especially the engine of your car. Keep on checking it. Because if there is a problem into the engine of your car, it might cause more fuel consumptions.

The Indian car market is crowded with a number of new and used cars. With such a wide option of car models in the country, it often becomes a challenging task to decide which car to buy. Even after the decision is fixed on a particular car model, car consumers keep pondering over which is better, new or used.

However, everyone would love to own a new car because of the brilliant appeal, newly adorned interiors, new engine and a new feel of driving. All these look good and appealing unless the thought of finance, insurance, and depreciation enters the mind.

Car finance, Car insurance, and depreciation are key factors that influence the decision of a car buyer. It is because of these that some car buyers prefer used cars over new cars.

Below is the detailed explanation of the key factors:

Car Insurance: When it comes to buying a new car, insurance is comparatively more as compared to used cars. When a person buys a new car, he or she has to cover the insurance of all spare parts, car components and he also tries to cover all the amounts he owes in the payment. In case of used cars, insurance is much low because the car owner has already shell out some amount on the insurance. When it comes to car parts, new car parts require less insurance as compared to pre-owned car parts and accessories.

Car Depreciation: Depreciation is defined as a decline in the capital value of an asset. In terms of car, the value of car reduces as soon as it moves out of any car showroom. Even though it is one day old, the car would be counted under the list of second hand cars. The car owner would never get the value he paid for buying the car when he sells the car. This is known as car depreciation. Within a couple of years, the car loses much of its value. It’s similar to buying a mobile phone. Today if you buy a phone for Rs 20,000 and if you go to sell the same mobile three months later, you won’t even get half the price. The same is the case with used cars, but obviously the depreciation would be much lesser than news cars.

Car Finance: Talking about the finance, obviously used cars are cheaper than new cars and hence require less finance. Taking a loan for new cars involves greater risk compared to that taken for used cars. This is because new cars require more finance and if any single month the car owner is not able to pay the monthly installment due to certain loss, the financer takes away the car. Atleast with used cars, the EMI would be low and chances are there that the owner is able to manage the finance to pay the installment.
